I’m a poet, novelist and PhD student based in Berlin. A longtime cinephile and science fiction fan, I spend most of my time looking out at the world around me and trying to capture beautiful moments, wherever they happen. Sometimes I manage to get them on film, but sometimes life is too ephemeral.

What You Do
My practice contemplates what it means to inhabit an urban environment in a city as an Urning, a non-binary masculine creature who loves to explore the in-between spaces of cities, passing looks, and acknowledges ephemerality, while trying to make it solid. This practice invokes the cinematic in its aesthetic implementation, while avoiding the trap of genre.
