Analogues

My photography practice is still developing, but focus principally on portrait photography and urban environments. I shoot on a Minolta X70 35mm analogue camera, principally in colour, but occasionally also in black and white. In portraits I try to capture the moment between observation and stillness, where self-consciousness meets thoughtfulness. This same approach applies to the urban environment, where geometric beauty and elegance, meets randomness and contradiction.
